1. Illustrate co-occurrence of psychiatric and cognitive disturbances over the course of PD, including before its diagnosis.
   
2. Describe overlap of motor and neuropsychiatric features in PD.
3. Recognize the common subtypes of neuropsychiatric disturbances in PD.
   
4. Review general treatment approaches to neuropsychiatric disturbances in PD.
   

Session participants will about:

1. Develop a shared understanding of what is patient- and family-centered care (PFCC)
2. Share practical strategies to initiate meaningful partnerships with patients and family members as formal members of the healthcare team
3. Explore how partnership among patients, families and caregivers strengthen quality and safety
4. Review outcomes associated with PFCC best practices
